Cafe Leber in Linz am Rhein

Were there yesterday (October 31, 2020). Simply great pies and cake selection that is second to none, plus a delicious pot of coffee. And you also have a nice view of the nice old town of Linz. What more could you want on a 40 km bike tour on a sunny 17 ° warm day at the end of October. Simply perfect!

Very tasty cake and friendly, as well as fast service. You can argue about the taste of the coffee, we didn't like it. Otherwise a very nice ambience with a terrace that invites you to marvel at the many historic houses. A recommendable café with moderate prices and honest pastry quality. Operation completely overwhelmed and very unfriendly. We wanted to order ice cream for 4 people. We left the café because the waitress was unable to place an order within an hour.

Café Leber is in itself a nice cafe and a pastry shop. The cakes are delicious and so is the café. Only the ice cream doesn't taste that good. The service is friendly. Outside in the times of Corona, the tables are quite close together. Toilet's clean but old.

Good location. Simple restaurant, helpful staff. Good to see the elderly generation still keen to work. The staff insisted that they will carry the cake to my table inspite of me offering to carry my own food. Good food. Looking forward to next visit. Definitely a recommended place.
